Looking for a great gym in with a wide range of state of the art equipment and facilities? We have got you covered! Our gym provides a welcoming, motivational environment to work on your health and fitness goals, so if you’re looking for ways to lose weight, lower blood pressure, boost your mental health, and much more, why not come along and be part of our healthy community? By attending the gym regularly, you can look better, feel better, and accomplish things you never thought possible.
We have 2 gym areas which have been sectioned out to help you make the most of our facility. In the ‘wee gym’ you’ll find our brand new ‘Open Studio’ Cycling zone where our popular CycleFIT classes take place alongside traditional strength and cardio equipment and a small, flexible workout space with light dumbbells, medicine balls and resistance bands. Be sure to check our timetable online as this area is sometimes used by McLaren High School as we help support their curriculum.
In addition to this you will find a vast variety of equipment in our ‘Big Gym’ where we boast 5 half racks, dumbbells up to 40kgs, cardio equipment including Treadmills, Rowers, Bikes plus a Stairmaster and Skier. Our refurbishment in August 2022 capitalised on feedback from our members and local community and we are confident we offer a state of the art fitness facility where you can achieve your goals.
Inductions are available to all gym users. Direct Debit Members receive these free of charge (check out our price list for pay as you go costs.) Inductions are recommended before you use our gym facilities. Inductions are mandatory for our 16-18 year old gym users. Functional training is rapidly becoming one of the best ways to get all round fitness fast! Our ‘Rig’ training area includes kettlebells, battle ropes, TRX, wall balls and much more! Check out our RigFit classes for more information.
