I’ve worked at McLaren Leisure Centre since 2004 in a variety of roles which I have enjoyed and learnt a lot from. I moved to Callander that same year and the leisure centre helped me to meet new friends and settle into life here in our town.
I started off at McLaren Leisure as a Lifeguard, whilst studying Leisure Management before joining the management team a few years later. I have enjoyed my experience over the years running Kids Camps, Soccer School, Swimming Lessons, Sports Development, Café and in the last few years Senior Management. I most of all enjoy the challenge of keeping the leisure centre open to the community, and ensuring that we offer the widest range of activities as possible.
On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my young family, playing football for Callander Thistle and very occasionally visiting the local drinking establishments.
