Fair Use Policy for Member Bookings
At McLaren Leisure, we aim to provide fair and equal access to all our facilities for our members. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our spaces, we have implemented the following Fair Use Policy for bookings.
1. Booking Guidelines
- Members can book courts, studios, and other facilities up to one week in advance.
- Bookings must be made in 1-hour slots and should begin on the hour.
- If a booking is no longer required, members must cancel as soon as possible to allow others to book.
2. Fair Usage Monitoring
- We regularly monitor bookings to ensure fair access for all members.
- If we identify that a particular member or group is booking a disproportionate number of slots, preventing others from using the facility, we may contact them to discuss alternative arrangements.
- Repeated misuse of the booking system, including failure to attend booked sessions without cancellation, may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
3. Group & Club Bookings
- Members booking facilities for non-members must ensure that all non-members pay at reception before play.
- Clubs or groups that require regular bookings should contact management to discuss long-term arrangements. Long term bookings are not part of our membership package and are paid separately.
- We reserve the right to adjust or limit bookings if they impact availability for other members.
4. Weekend & Peak Time Restrictions
- Some areas of the centre, such as courts and studios, may have restricted availability during peak times or when events (e.g., birthday parties) are scheduled.
- Members should check availability in advance and be aware that some slots may not be available every week.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all members. If you have any questions or need assistance with bookings, please speak to a member of staff.
