Café Manager

I started my first job in hospitality when I was 13 in a wee tearoom in Killin where I grew up. After working in Childcare for over 10 years and then having my own children I found myself back in hospitality. I enjoy the social aspect of speaking to a range of people throughout the day, locals and tourists alike. No two days are the same and you certainly get your steps in! I have never been particularly sporty, maybe if we had a facility like this growing up, I would have been. Callander and the surrounding areas are so lucky to have this facility to access, I wanted to be part of team here. I started working at McLaren Leisure Centre in 2021, looking for a new challenge. I have great plans for Café Silva, watch this space!!

I am part of Killin Drama Club, I enjoy reading, watching TV, spending time with my family and recently got back into swimming.
